Plans & pricing¶
This guide explains how pricing works on Delegate: the plan ladder, what's included, add-ons, volume pricing, buying groups, and what happens when you change plans. Every price you see is already worked out for your organization — the number on the page is the number you pay.
To see your own prices, open Organization → Billing and the plan and add-on picker there. Prices are visible to your organization's owners and admins.
Plans¶
Plans form a single ladder, from the free plan up to Enterprise at the top. Every rung is publicly priced, and each plan up the ladder includes everything in the plans below it, plus more — higher limits, more capabilities, and (at Enterprise) enterprise-level features.
You can always see the next plan up from yours and exactly what it adds, so you know what you'd get before you move.
What's included vs. an add-on¶
Each plan comes with a bundle of capabilities — limits, enablements, and integrations that are simply on for everyone on that plan. Some capabilities aren't in your plan's bundle but can be purchased separately as add-ons.
When you look at an add-on, its label tells you where you stand:
- Included — your current plan already covers it, at no extra charge.
- Included in (a higher plan) — you'd get it by moving up, instead of buying it on its own.
- Available — you can add it to your current plan for the listed price.
A capability that's an add-on today can later become included for everyone or for a plan. If that happens while you're paying for it, the charge is removed right away and you're credited for the unused part of the month.
Add-ons¶
Add-ons are billed in one of three ways:
- Flat — a fixed monthly price.
- Per unit — a price per unit (per seat, per number, and so on); you choose the quantity.
- By usage (metered) — you pay for what you use. Some plans include a monthly allowance, and you're only billed for usage beyond it.
An add-on can apply to your whole organization or to a single agent (for example, a capability you turn on for just one agent).
Volume pricing¶
Per-unit add-ons can get cheaper per unit the more you buy. These use volume pricing: when your quantity crosses a breakpoint, the new, lower price applies to every unit — not just the ones above the breakpoint. You never have to work this out yourself; the price shown on the billing page already reflects the quantity you've chosen.
Buying groups & enrollment codes¶
Your organization can belong to a buying group — for example through a partner, reseller, or program you've joined. You join with an enrollment code or a group signup link.
A buying group changes price only. Depending on the group you may get a percentage discount or special rates on specific items, but a group never changes what your organization can do, who can administer it, or which features you have — only what you pay. Your organization can be in at most one group at a time, and your billing page shows which group you're in.
If you leave a group or switch to a different one, your pricing updates at your next renewal.
Changing plans¶
Upgrades¶
Moving up to a higher plan takes effect right away. Upgrading never raises the price of an add-on you already hold: if something you're paying for would cost more on the new plan, you keep your lower price. Prices only ever go down when you upgrade.
Downgrades¶
Moving to a lower plan takes effect at the start of your next billing month — you keep everything you're paying for until then, with no mid-month surprise.
If the lower plan's limits are smaller than what you're currently using, the resources over the new limit become read-only rather than being deleted. Nothing is lost: you can export or review it, and you'll be prompted to add the capacity back (as an add-on, or by staying on your current plan) to make it editable again.
Free trials¶
Some plans and add-ons offer a free trial. When one is available you'll see it on the billing page before you commit. A trial can be started once per item for your organization.
Seeing and managing your prices¶
Everything above lives under Organization → Billing:
- your current plan and the next plan up, each priced for you;
- every add-on with its price for your organization, including any volume pricing and group rates already applied;
- your buying group, if you're in one;
- a secure checkout to subscribe or change plans, and a billing portal to update your card, see invoices, or cancel.
For how to run checkout, view usage, and manage your subscription day to day, see Plans, billing & usage.
